Tournament Progression Adjustments

Skill scores are adjusted based on tournament phases:

  • +2 pts for reaching quarterfinals

  • +4 pts for reaching semifinals

  • +8 pts for reaching finals

  • The score cannot exceed 50 in case of retirement during the match.

Final score caps:

  • A player’s maximum score is capped if they play fewer than 3 rounds before reaching the quarter-finals:

    • 1 round played: score capped at 55

    • 2 rounds played (including in the case of a walkover, whether by the player or their opponent): score capped at 60

  • If a player loses their second match before the quarterfinals, their score is capped at 60.

Matches played during the qualification rounds of ITF tournaments are not counted when calculating the number of rounds played. Only main draw matches are considered.
